But this to replace an weller gun that was about 25 years old, that saw a lot of hard use and abuse, these are great guns and handle a wide range
of jobs, i've soldered everything from radiators to radios with the old gun, and on a few uses with this new one i must say not only just as good
but better. more power and a better design for tips. Don't fool around with cheaper, get this gun!
